Need help finding help?
Dialing 211 is your first step

Access to emergency police and fire services through the "9-1-1" telephone number is a universal and indispensable service in Vermont. Telephone directory assistance - available by dialing "4-1-1" - is another service we depend upon. With “2-1-1,” the new national number dedicated for community information and referral, we can now ensure that all Vermont residents have easy access to the community information and resources they need to maintain and improve their health and well being.

VISION
Vermont 2-1-1 provides all people in Vermont with 24-hour, free access to comprehensive health and human services information and referral. This access includes personal assistance by telephone by dialing 2-1-1 and an online, searchable database of services available at www.vermont211.org.

MISSION
Vermont 2-1-1 promotes the health and well being of all Vermonters by developing, coordinating and sustaining a statewide information and referral system for streamlined access to social services.
