United Way of Windham County relies on hundreds of volunteers who devote their time, energy and expertise each year to help us make a difference in our community. UWWC can connect you with many meaningful volunteer opportunities in Windham County.
 

1. Get Connected Windham County

Get Connected Windham County is our online volunteer portal which links you to numerous ways to follow your passion, use your skills and share you compassion to lend HOPE a hand in Windham County!  Get Connected is an online resource full of dozens of volunteer opportunities from more than 65 area non-profit organizations.  Volunteers of all ages will find opportunities to serve once a week, once a month or once in a while.  Use the link below to help you get started!

2. Day of Caring 

Held each September, Day of Caring is a day dedicated to volunteering. Organized by United Way of Windham County, volunteers spread out across Windham County to provide skills, labor, and energy to different program sites. This annual day of service mobilizes the caring power of the community to provide assistance to Windham County’s nonprofit organizations, which all do so much every day to help the residents of our county. 

3. UWWC - Specific Volunteer Opportunities 

Throughout the year, UWWC has specifc volunteering opportunities available for our HOPE initiatives. Dental Care Day, VITA, Handbags for HOPE -- these programs are made possible through volunteers.
