United Way of Windham County is appealing to the community to help raise the final 20% of its Community Fund campaign goal.
“We are turning to the community to ask for the last 20% of the campaign,” said Taylor Knoop, Development & Community Relations Director. “What’s so amazing about our local United Way is that it is truly local – it relies on the generosity and caring power of our community to make a difference, to change lives, of local people in our community. Over 99% of funds raised in Windham County remain in Windham County.”
To date, the campaign has raised 80% of its annual goal for the Community Fund. The Community Fund supports United Way of Windham County’s focus areas of HOPE – Health, Opportunity, Prosperity, Education.

- EDUCATION - Helping adults, children, and youth to achieve their potential
United Way of Windham County engages in work for the HOPE focus areas through developing internal programs, supporting external programs and working as a social connector as a general resource.
